Pacer has managed and owned numerous facilities, including: two (2) acute care hospitals, a skilled nursing facility, a psychiatric facility, a rural health clinic, a psychiatric doctor’s office, and a multi-specialty clinic and imaging center. Founded on the principles of providing quality healthcare with dignity and compassion, Pacer Health Corporation aspires to set the standard by which quality of care is measured. The Company is dedicated to the quality of care our residents receive and strives to ensure each resident receives extensive quality healthcare from knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated healthcare personnel.

Pacer believes in performance improvement on a daily basis. Each of Pacer’s facilities has annual performance improvement plans that are approved by the Medical Staff and Governing Body and are directed by a Performance Improvement Coordinator. Daily, weekly, and monthly statistics are kept throughout each department in the facility based on the established target goals. These results are reviewed on a monthly basis with hospital administration, Pacer management, the Medical Staff, and the Governing Body. Additionally, we have plans in place to correct any areas needing improvement.
Our Company deems daily compliance will all regulation and accreditation standards imperative. The idea of preparing for a JCAHO survey because the facility is due is unacceptable. This must always be a focus at the facility and we ensure this by requiring continuous performance improvement, annual policy and procedure review, annual contract review, annual in-services, annual recertification for licensure, etc. It is our policy that every staff member be involved in this process every day.
