John Vincent joins Pacer Health as Chief Operating Officer

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 26, 2007--Pacer Health Corporation (OTCBB:PHLH - News), a Miami-based owner-operator of acute care hospitals, medical treatment centers and psychiatric care facilities, announced today that John Vincent has joined the Pacer executive team as the company’s chief operating officer.

Prior to becoming chief operating officer, Vincent served as Pacer Health’s chief nursing officer and director of hospital operations.  Vincent started with the company as the director of nursing for South Cameron Memorial Hospital, a Pacer Health facility.   

Previously, he served as the manager of the emergency department, operating room, medical surgical, and intensive care unit at Women and Children’s Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana, a facility with annual net revenues of approximately $30 million.  Prior to his work at Women and Children’s, Vincent served as the emergency department technician and then the emergency department charge nurse at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana, a 150 bed facility with annual net revenues of approximately $60 million.

Vincent is a member of the Emergency Nurses’ Association and American Heart Association and is a certified ACLS and PALS instructor and an instructor for basic life support and trauma nursing.  Vincent holds a degree in nursing from Louisiana State University, as well as a master’s in nursing administration from Regents College, New York.
